Cochin – Singapore

Day 2

Singapore- Seoul

  • Welcome to Seoul, South Korea.
  • Later connects Singapore Airline Flight SQ 600 at 08.00 hrs and arrives at Incheon International airport, Seoul at 15.35 hrs. Welcome to South Korea. The Republic of Korea is a country in East Asia, sharing the land border with North Korea in the Korean Peninsula. We visit Korea during the autumn season, offering clear cool, and crisp weather and beautiful autumn foliage, autumn is the best time to visit Korea. Upon arrival in Incheon, you will be welcomed by our representative in Korea who will lead us to the coach and will transfer to Seoul. On arrival check in hotel
  • Visit Dongdaemun Design Plaza , the stunning architecture in Seoul
  • Later we visit the stunning architecture of Seoul DDP Plaza. The Dongdaemun Design Plaza is a biggest shopping district 24/7 and a major landmark in Seoul designed by Zaha Hadid and Samoo, with a distinctively neo-futuristic design. The landmark is the centerpiece of South Korea’s fashion hub and popular tourist destination, Dongdaemun, featuring a walkable park on its roofs, large global exhibition spaces, futuristic retail stores and restored parts of the Seoul fortress. The DDP has been one of the main reasons for Seoul’s designation as World Design Capital in 2010 and it was officially inaugurated on March 21, 2014. After dinner transfer to hotel. Day 3

Nami Island Tour

  • After continental breakfast we will transfer to Gapyeong to explore the beauty of Nami Island, Gangchon Rail Park and the Garden of the Morning Calm. Here you can take amazing pictures of woodlands and tree lanes in this crescent moon-shaped island and go through the colourful European-style buildings of Petite France, the Garden of Morning Calm and multiple filming locations from K-dramas! And you can also try one of the largest ZipLine in Asia. Attraction where you can go down a wire cable from a 80 meter-high tower to Nami Island 940 meters away. We will arrive at Gapyeong Wharf for a ferry across the river to Sami Island. There are two options to get the Nami island, either by ferry or zip-lining (optional) across for the more adventurous.
  • Nami Island, well-known for K-Drama shooting place because of beautiful natural scene. From mid-September to November, visitors can enjoy the spectacular autumn foliage on Nami Island. The reed beds along the river are another gift of nature to be enjoyed in autumn. In autumn, this is one of the famous “fall foliage destinations” where the trees turn into flowers for a short time, with the leaves turning from green to red, orange, yellow, gold, and rust. Many people look forward to fall to visit Nami Island during that period and take shots of this rare scenery that can only be seen on Nami Island. Not only the scenery is beautiful but there are also lots of activities to do there such as renting a bike or going on a boat trip! You are free to explore the beautiful island on your own.
  • Visit Petite village, a cute French cultural village
  • After lunch we visit Petite village, a cute French cultural village located in Gapyeong mostly known as the filming location of popular Korean dramas. Petite France one of those popular spots for tourists to get away to when they head out of Seoul. It is famous for its stunning scenery, the village was featured in many Korean dramas, such as “Beethoven Virus,” “Personal Taste,” “Secret Garden” and “My Love from the Stars.” The popular Korean variety show, “Running Man” was f ilmed here as well. Gapyeong Petite France is located in the middle of the Gapyeong Mountains. It is famous tourism destination by both local and international travelers. From gardens and parks with light festivals to farms, islands, and unique villages, there’s a ton to do in the area. Popular with K-drama fans as it has been a set for numerous shows and Petite Prince fans because the little prince is everywhere you look, the village is a colorful find in the green and blue mountainside. Set in the mountains of Gapyeong, the petite village is an easy stop to make along with other fun must see areas like Nami Island or Garden of The Morning Calm. Famous for its beautiful landscape throughout all the seasons, the whole island is filled with endless tree lands and riverside walks. Painted golden, the autumn foliage of the Metasequoia trees, Korea Pine trees, and Maple trees were stunning and make popular photo spots. Free time to explore the beautiful island.
  • Han River Cruise
  • Evening make unforgettable memories in the heart of South Korea’s capital on this Han River cruise. Hop aboard your cruise vessel and head onto the Han River as the bright city lights dance on the waves. With informative commentary from your guide, admire top attractions such as Jeoldusan Park and the N Seoul Tower…etc., After dinner transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4

DMZ Tour and Visit to Hyundai Motor Studio

  • After continental breakfast we visit the Hyundai Motor Studio. Hyundai Motor Studio is highly important for Koreans, as it represents not just a car showroom but a significant cultural hub showcasing the nation’s automotive heritage, design prowess and innovative spirit, often seen as a symbol of Korea’s technological advancement and providing a space to experience Hyundai’s brand identity deeply rooted in Korean culture.
  • Visit Hyundai Motor Studio
  • Hyundai Motor Studio where you can watch all kind of motor cars from ancient to most advanced. Motorstudio is the largest automobile theme park in Korea, offering fun and excitement for visitors as they learn about how cars are manufactured and how they function. The Hyundai Motorstudio’s major USP will be the ‘car rotators’, a world first that was designed and installed for the showroom. The angle of each car will be adjusted every month that will allow customers to observe each car from every angle, including the undercarriages. The architects used 36,000 metres of steel pipes and anodized steel panels to create the interior and exterior architecture of the flagship showroom that represents the company’s vast capacity of industrial production and innovation. Consisting of five floors, the Hyundai Motorstudio will get an art gallery and a communication venue with customers. The new showrooms that will open globally will offer visitors a glimpse into Hyundai’s other cars in its portfolio.
  • North Korean Border Tour Visit the Korean Demilitarised Zone(DMZ) , the most scariest place on earth
  • Later we will transfer to The Korean Demilitarised Zone(DMZ) ‘the scariest place on earth by the former U.S president Bill Clinton said. This is a piece of land running across the Korean peninsula between South and North Korea. The area is the existing proof of what has caused a lot of pain to millions of Koreans. It was established to serve as a buffer zone between the countries of North Korea and South Korea under the provisions of the Korean Armistice Agreement in 1953, an agreement between North Korea, China and the United Nations Command. The DMZ is 250 kilometers (160 mi) long and about 4 kilometers (2.5 mi) wide.
  • Here we visit ‘The Third Tunnel’ which was made by North Korean soldier to attack South Korea, visit ‘Dora Observatory’ to see North Korean territory, ‘Dora Train Station’, DMZ Theater, ‘Unification village’, Imjingak Resort, the three-storied Imjingak is surrounded by several monuments. In front of Imjingak is the Gyeongui Train Line which was destroyed during the Korean War in 1950. Paju DMZ is at a crossroad where the clear water of Imjingang River connects between South and North Korea. Flowing from Hangyeongnam-do and into Hangang River, Imjingnag River shows off its beauty as it serenely passes through the cease-fire line. However, it is remembered as a site of the painful and tragic national division of the Korean Peninsula. Freedom Bridge is located at the back of Bangbaedan Altar in front of Imjingak Square in Majeong-ri, Munsan-eup. It was named Freedom Bridge because 12,733 Korean War prisoners returned home for freedom through this bridge in 1953. The Peace Bell was built in 2000 to pray for peace of the human race and national unification in celebration of the new millennium. After dinner transfer to Hotel.

Day 5

Seoul Sightseeing Tour

  • Seoul, the capital of South Korea, is a huge metropolis where modern skyscrapers, high-tech subways and pop culture. After continental breakfast we visit the popular tourist destinations such as royal palaces, traditional markets, and high-end shopping districts in a guided city tour. We pass through Gwanghwamun Plaza.
  • Visit Gyeongbok Palace and witness changing of guards ceremony
  • Later visit Gyeongbokgung Palace, the seat of royal power for hundreds of years. Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest and most striking of the 5 grand palaces built during the Joseon dynasty. Built in 1395 by King Taejo, this iconic landmark lets you experience life in Joseon-era Korea in a guided tour. There are over 300 buildings within the complex, including The National Folk Museum and The National Palace Museum. You can explore the palace grounds and marvel at remnants of the Joseon Dynasty, including the Gyeonghoe-ru Pavilion, Hyangwonjeong Pond, and sculptures of The Royal Audience Chamber. Here you will get an opportunity to witness the changing of guards ceremony infront of Gyeongbokgung Palace. During the Joseon Dynasty, the royal guards were responsible for guarding and patrolling the gates of the capital city and the royal palaces. They were in charge of opening and closing the palace gates, inspecting all visitors, and maintaining close surveillance of the palace. Free time to explore Insadong street for antique and handcraft souvenirs. Later visit Joggesa Temple. Jogyesa is the chief temple of the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism. The building dates back to the late 14th century and became the order’s chief temple in 1936. It thus plays a leading role in the current state of Seon Buddhism in South Korea.
  • Korean Folk Village Tour
  • After lunch, transfer to Korean Folk village to explore the culture and diet of Koreans. The Village located on a large 245 acres of land with backdrop of mountains and a river running through it. The village was created by relocating and restoring 270 real houses from different parts of the country, successfully enacting the daily life culture of a typical village during Joseon dynasty. The Korean Folk Village has been a popular film site for many well-known historical dramas including My Love from the Star (2013), Moon Embracing the Sun (2012), Dong Yi (2010), Sungkyunkwan Scandal (2010), The Great Queen Seondeok (2009) and of course, the hugely popular Dae Jang Geum (2003).
  • We visit multiple exhibition halls, displaying thousands of cultural artefacts. Popular with visitors include the daily traditional art performances like Farmer’s Music and Dance, Tightrope Walking, Horseback Martial Arts and Traditional Wedding Ceremony. Admire folk and street dancers animating the stage with their swirling pirouettes and discover collections of ancient artifacts from across the country. Day 6

Transfer to Busan By Bullet Train

  • After breakfast procced to Seoul train station to Catch the bullet train to Busan. The Korean bullet train, officially called the “KTX” (Korea Train Express), is known for its high speeds, advanced technology, and domestic development, reaching a maximum operating speed of 305 km/h (190 mph). Reaching Busan around 11:30. Busan is the second largest city of South Korea, situated in the southeastern tip of the Korean peninsula. Also known as the “City Of Tomorrow”, it is a hidden gem of South Korea. It is a hub of great beaches, religious temples, majestic cliffs for adventurous hiking or be it wandering in the colorful alleys of a World Heritage village. This city has an array of attractions that will make you fall in love with South Korea even more. After lunch we will transfer to Gamcheon Hillside Cultural village.

  • Gamcheon Culture Village, located in Busan, South Korea, is a vibrant and colorful hillside community that has become a popular cultural destination. Originally established as a shantytown during the Korean War, the area has since undergone a transformation into a creative space filled with art installations, murals, and unique architecture. The village is often referred to as the “Machu Picchu of Busan” due to its steep terrain and picturesque setting. The narrow alleyways wind through brightly painted houses, and each corner is adorned with quirky artwork and sculptures, making it an open-air gallery. The neighborhood is also home to numerous cafes, boutique shops, and galleries, contributing to its lively and artistic atmosphere. One of the key features of Gamcheon is its community spirit, with local residents, artists, and volunteers working together to revitalize the area. Visitors can explore the maze of streets, take in the panoramic views of Busan’s skyline and the ocean, and experience the cultural history that has shaped this unique village.
  • Visit the beautiful Haedong Yonggungsa Temple
  • Later we visit Haedong Yonggungsa Temple which is situated on the coast of the north-eastern portion of Busan. This superb attraction offers visitors the rare find of a temple along the shore line; most temples in Korea are located in the mountains. Haedong Yonggungsa Temple was first built in 1376 by the great Buddhist teacher known as Naong during the Goryeo Dynasty. Seawater Great Goddess Buddha, Daeungjeon Main Sanctuary, Yongwangdang Shrine, Gulbeop Buddhist Sanctum and a three-story pagoda with four lions can all be seen looking out over the ocean.
  • Visit Haeundae Beach
  • After lunch we pass through Dalmaji hill and reach at Haeunane beach. Haeundae Beach is an urban beach in Busan, South Korea. Often dubbed one of the country’s most famous and popular beaches, it is located in the eponymous Haeundae District. Haeundae Beach is the most famous beach in Busan. The white sand beach is roughly 1.5km long, over a 30~50m wide area, creating a beautiful coastline before a shallow bay, making Haeundae Beach perfect for swimming. People f lock to Haeundae Beach every season. Haeundae Beach is also famous for various cultural events and festivals held throughout the year. Evening passing through Diamond bridge. The Gwangandaegyo or Diamond Bridge is a suspension bridge located in Busan, South Korea. It connects Haeundae-gu to Suyeong-gu. The road surface is about 6,500 meters long, with the bridge as a whole spanning 7,420 meters. It is the second longest bridge in the country after the Incheon Bridge.
