Day 1

Chennai – Reunion

  • Welcome to Reunion
  • Indigo Airlines flight 6E 1871 departs from Chennai at 12:20 for Reunion. The group is advised to report at the airport well in advance to ensure a smooth check-in and boarding process. Upon arrival at Roland Garros Airport at 15:40, we will proceed with customs and immigration clearance.
  • After completing all arrival formalities, our local tour manager will warmly receive and assist the group outside the terminal.

Day 2

Piton de la Fournaise

  • Journey to the Heart of Fire
  • After a continental breakfast, begin the day with a scenic drive towards Piton de la Fournaise, one of the world’s most active volcanoes, located approximately two hours from the hotel. As we journey through the island’s ever-changing landscapes, witness the scenery transform from lush green forests and rolling hills to dramatic volcanic plains and rugged lava fields, showcasing the unique natural beauty of Réunion.
  • Upon arrival, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the volcano and its surrounding crater landscapes. The region’s raw volcanic terrain and untouched beauty make it one of the island’s most remarkable natural attractions. For those seeking an unforgettable experience, an optional helicopter ride over the volcano can also be arranged, offering spectacular aerial views of the craters, lava flows, and vast volcanic landscapes from above.
  • Secrets of Commerson Crater
  • Along the way, we will enjoy scenic stopovers at Commerson Crater, a dramatic volcanic crater surrounded by lush landscapes, followed by Nez de Boeuf, offering stunning panoramic valley views. We will then continue across the famous Plaine des Sables, known for its unique moon-like volcanic terrain, before reaching Pas de Belle combe, where we can enjoy a breathtaking 180-degree view of the volcanic landscape and Piton de la Fournaise.
  • Saga du Rhum Museum-Island Rum Heritage Walk
  • After taking photographs and learning about the volcano, we will proceed back to Saint-Pierre and visit La Saga du Rhum, a unique cultural museum dedicated to the history and production of traditional Réunion rum. Located within the historic Isautier Distillery, founded in 1845, the museum offers an immersive and educational tour exploring the connection between sugarcane, rum, and the island’s culture. During the visit, we will gain valuable insights into Réunion’s rum-making traditions, followed by a tasting session of locally produced rum and traditional jams.

Day 3

Salazie & the East Coast

  • We will continue our journey to one of the three cirques of Réunion, the Cirque de Salazie, often called the “Valley of Waterfalls.” Known for its lush greenery, dramatic mountain scenery, and traditional Creole villages, Salazie is one of the most picturesque regions on the island, with high peaks, deep valleys, and countless waterfalls flowing down steep cliffs.
  • Our first stop will be the famous Voile de la Mariée, a spectacular multi-tiered waterfall that cascades down the mountainside like a bridal veil, especially striking after rainfall. The cirque is also known for its rich vegetation, vibrant local culture, and charming village life, offering a true glimpse into the heart of inland Réunion.
  • REUNION-MAURITIUS
  • Enjoy a short and comfortable flight across the Indian Ocean from Réunion Island to Mauritius.

Île aux Cerfs

  • We will enjoy a range of included water activities such as snorkelling, parasailing, and speedboat rides, along with time to relax on the beach and soak in the tropical surroundings. Day 5

Mauritius South-West Discovery & Seychelles Transfer

  • After a continental breakfast, Proceed for the South-West Discovery of Mauritius. We will visit the Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth Geopark in Mauritius, one of the island’s most unique natural attractions. This fascinating site features sand dunes in distinct shades of red, brown, violet, green, and blue, formed through volcanic activity over thousands of years. Despite heavy rainfall, the colours remain clearly separated, creating a rare and striking natural phenomenon.
  • Set amidst lush tropical greenery, the geopark also offers scenic viewpoints, walking paths, and excellent photo opportunities. The visit includes views of the nearby Chamarel Waterfall, one of the highest waterfalls on the island, cascading beautifully through dense forest. This experience combines natural wonder, geological interest, and breathtaking scenery, making it a memorable highlight of the journey in Mauritius.
  • Later proceed to the airport.We will depart from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport at 04:55 PM on Airbus A320 flight HM 48, arriving at Seychelles International Airport at 07:30 PM.

Day 6

Praslin and La Digue islands, Mahé

  • Begin our journey with a scenic ferry transfer to Praslin, known for its lush greenery and beautiful beaches. You may visit the famous Vallée de Mai, home to the rare Coco de Mer palms and rich tropical forest.
  • We enjoy a scenic tour of Praslin Island, the second-largest island in Seychelles, renowned for its pristine beaches, lush tropical landscapes, and relaxed island charm. Our journey takes us through breathtaking coastal views and picturesque surroundings, with opportunities to visit some of the island’s most famous attractions, including the UNESCO-listed Vallée de Mai Nature Reserve, home to the rare Coco de Mer palm. Known for its crystal-clear waters and white sandy beaches such as Anse Lazio, Praslin offers the perfect blend of natural beauty, tranquillity, and authentic Seychellois charm, making it a memorable highlight of our Seychelles journey
  • La Digue Island - “Granite Island”
  • Later continue to La Digue, one of the most picturesque and tranquil islands in Seychelles, known for its laid-back atmosphere and natural beauty. Famous for its stunning beaches like Anse Source d’Argent, with its iconic granite boulders and crystal-clear waters, the island offers postcard perfect scenery at every turn. With minimal motorized transport, La Digue is best explored by bicycle or on foot, allowing us to fully enjoy its peaceful charm. Surrounded by turquoise lagoons, lush greenery, and traditional island life, La Digue provides an authentic and relaxing Seychelles experience. d’Argent, famous for its unique granite rocks and crystal-clear waters. A special highlight of this tour is the chance to see the giant tortoises, some of which are believed to be over 300 years old. Observing these gentle, long-living creatures up close is a truly unique and memorable experience.

Day 7

Ocean Discovery & Island Hopping Tour

  • After a continental breakfast, proceed to Ste. Anne Marine National Park for a full-day island experience. Enjoy a glass bottom boat ride and discover the vibrant marine life of the Indian Ocean. We can also snorkel (Optional ) among colourful fish and may even spot an eel.
  • Moyenne Island
  • Later we visited Moyenne Island, a small yet fascinating island located in the Sainte Anne Marine National Park in Seychelles. Known for its rich history and natural beauty, the island was once privately owned and transformed into a protected nature reserve. Surrounded by crystal clear waters and coral reefs, Moyenne Island is home to giant tortoises, tropical vegetation, and scenic walking trails. As we explore the island, we enjoy its peaceful atmosphere, unique stories, and unspoiled charm, making it a delightful and memorable part of our Seychelles experience. We may also spot peacocks roaming freely.
  • Island Hopping
  • Later, head back to the beach and enjoy a delicious Creole buffet lunch. Continue our island exploration with a scenic cruise, passing by Hodoul Island, known as a nesting site for cattle egret birds, along with views of surrounding islands such as Cerf Island, Île Cachée, Round Island, Long Island, and St. Anne Island. Later, proceed to the hotel. Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8

Tropical Flora & Tortoise Tour - India

  • After continental breakfast, Proceed to the Seychelles National Botanical Gardens. Here, we can walk through well maintained gardens with a variety of tropical plants and see the famous giant Aldabra tortoises, offering a glimpse of the region’s natural beauty.
  • Takamaka Rum Distillery
  • We visit the Takamaka Rum Distillery located at the historic La Plaine St. André estate on Mahé Island. Surrounded by lush tropical gardens, this charming distillery offers insight into the traditional art of rum making, showcasing the journey from sugarcane to the final spirit. We explore the estate and learn about the island’s rich heritage connected to rum production. The experience also includes a rum tasting session, where we sample a selection of locally crafted Takamaka rums. This visit blends history, culture, and flavor, making it a unique highlight of our Seychelles journey.
  • Airport Transfer
  • Transfer to Seychelles International Airport with our hearts full of unforgettable memories from pristine white sandy beaches and crystal clear turquoise waters to vibrant marine life, thrilling island adventures, and warm local hospitality. This journey has been a perfect blend of relaxation, exploration, and unique cultural experiences that we will cherish for a lifetime.
