Day 1

Cochin - Almaty

  • Assemble at Cochin International Airport @ 12.30 am and Air Arabia flights depart to Sharjah at 03.55.

Later connect the flight to Almaty at 9.55 hrs and arrive at Almaty International Airport at 15.00 hrs.

  • Welcome to Almaty, Kazakhstan, a Central Asian country and former Soviet republic, that extends from the Caspian Sea in the west to the Altai Mountains at its eastern border with China and Russia. Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest metropolis, is set in the foothills of the Trans-Ili Alatau mountains. It served as the country’s capital until 1997 and remains Kazakhstan’s trading and cultural hub. Later transfer to hotel. Free time for leisure. Dinner at an Indian restaurant. Overnight stay at the hotel in Almaty.

Day 2

Full - Day Almaty City Tour - KOK Tobe

  • After breakfast proceed to Almatty city tour. First, we visit the palace of the president. The Palace of the President in Almaty, Kazakhstan, stands as a symbol of political significance and architectural grandeur. Completed in 2004, the imposing structure serves as the official residence of the President of Kazakhstan in Almaty. Later we will see the Republic Square and Monument of Independence during our Almaty city tour.
  • REPUBLIC SQUARE AND MONUMENT OF INDEPENDENCE
  • Republic Square, also known as Independence Square or New Square is the main square in Almaty, Kazakhstan. It is used for public events. The former presidential palace, now used as municipal offices, is on its south side. The Monument of Independence, The Central State Museum, and many other in- fluential buildings in the area. The Square was created because due to the increase in population, the old Square could not accommodate people during festivals and other events. Hence the new Square or the Republic Square was opened in 1980 and ever since has served as an area for celebrations, mass parades, rallies, and festivals. To make it more beautiful, the area was decorated with a lush green cover of deciduous and coniferous trees. Later proceed to Astana Square, Panifilov Park, Abai Square Palace of the Republic, presidential park.

  • KOK TOBE TOUR
  • After lunch transfer to KOK Tobe by cable car . Kok Tobe is a mountain in Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city. Kók Tóbe Park, a popular recreation area, is on top of the mountain. The mountain’s height is 1100 meters above sea levell. From the city center, we will reach it in just 10 minutes by car, but it is much more interesting to take a ride on the famous cable car, admiring the breathtaking views of the city. From the top of the mountain you can see not only city landscapes, but also breathtaking panoramas of the foothills of the Trans-Ili Alatau. At the top of the mountain is that very TV tower which can be seen in all postcard photos of the city and is one of the symbols of the southern capital. The TV tower is one of the tallest in the world – its height is 371,5 meters, and together with the mountain it reaches 1,452 meters above sea level. A park pleasant for walking and entertainment is located at the foot of the TV tower.In 2001 in Kok Tobe Park a group of enthusiasts established the first CIS monument dedicated to “Beatles”. In addition to the observation platforms and restaurants, the park has a lot of entertainment for the little ones, and for fans of extreme sports Evening proceed to the hotel .Dinner at Local restaurant .Overnight stay at Hotel in Almaty.

Day 3

Medeu & Shymbulak Tour

  • After breakfast transfer to Mountain guided excursion. This tour provides you the best opportunity to see the beautiful mountain surroundings of Almaty city. The first stop of the tour await you in the Medeo Gorge, The Medeu , is an outdoor speed skating and bandy rink. It is located in a mountain valley on the south-eastern outskirts of Almaty, Kazakhstan. Medeu sits 1,691 metres above sea level. We will board the cable car to Ski resort It consists of 10.5 thousand square meters of ice and utilizes a sophisticated freezing and watering system to ensure the quality of the ice. Shymbulak is the name of the most prominent yet famous ski resort in Kazakhstan. Built back in 1954 it was a training base for Soviet skiers. It is worth mentioning that in those days cable and gondola roads had not yet been built, so the athletes had to climb up the mountain all the way on foot, which took about three hours. After some time cableways, hotels, a Finnish bath, restaurants were constructed and since 1983 Shymbulak became the Soviet Olympic base for professional sportsmen. The Shymbulak Ski resort is located in the picturesque Zailiuskiy Alwatau mountains, 2260 m above sea level and is around 25kms outside the Almaty City with an average temperature of 25 degrees in summers and -7 degrees in winter. The resort has everything for everyone, be it the gentle slopes for the beginners or the longer trails for the experts. This place is apt for relaxing not only in the winters but also in summers and one can explore the area by foot through long valleys unexplored mountainS and beautiful pine forests and meadows. In Summer, they have camps for children they can learn new things and have fun too. Kids club, paragliding, trampoline jumping,skiing ,snow boarding and so many other snow activities are there ( all are optional ), After lunch proceed to Almaty with beautiful memories from Shymbulak Over night stay at Almaty.

Day 4

Almaty - Tour To Charyn Canyon

  • After breakfast start the tour to Charyn Canyon. The Canyon itself represents a monument of nature formed with sedimentary rocks aged more than 12 million years. The landscapes are virtually miraculous there. Charyn Canyon is getting scarlet, pink, and orange colors at sunset when the sun is disappearing behind the horizon. Charyn National Park officially, Charyn Canyon National Nature Park is a national park in Kazakhstan, stretching along the Charyn River, including Charyn Canyon. The Canyon, with its thinly stratified red sedimentary rock, is said to resemble the Grand Canyon in the US; Canyons range in size from narrow slits to huge trenches. They have very steep sides and maybe thousands of feet deep. Smaller valleys of similar appearance are called gorges. Canyons are created by erosion. Chiseled out of the steppe clay by an eponymous white river, Charyn Canyon is Kazakhstan’s supreme rift. After crossing the endless, wide-open plains outside of Almaty, the canyon comes as a surprise. Seemingly out of nowhere, the landscape gets a third dimension. For a million years, wind and water sculpted Charyn’s red sandstone to form today’s fantastical shapes and shadows. We can admire thegrand panorama and then have a walk through the maze of the castles valley .Later continue driving to Kolsai lake.
  • KOLSAI LAKE
  • A large number of rivers are flowing down the slopes of the Northern Tien Shan and Dzungar Alatau Mountains, forming stunning lakes along their way. The “Pearl of the Tien Shan”, Kolsai Lakes, are located 300 km from Almaty, in the spurs of the Kungei-Alatau ridge. It is also called Kazakh Switzerland. These are three most beautiful mountain lakes surrounded by steep mountain slopes. The lakes are located at different heights and form a kind of cascade. The tranquil lakes are a popular stop along Kazakhstan’s famous Golden Triangle and are flanked by lush alpine forests and hillsides covered with wildflowers and berries, making it a haven for nature lovers and culture enthusiasts alike. The KolsaiLakes National Park is nestled in the northern slope of the Tian Shan Mountain Range in southeast Kazakhstan. Then transfer back to Almaty .Evening proceed to the Dinner with Kazakhstan dance performance .Over night stay in Almaty

Day 5

Almaty Departures

  • Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Free time for leisure and shopping.
