Arrival in Guwahati

Day 1

Begin your journey in Assam by arriving in Guwahati, the gateway to the northeast. After checking into your hotel, embark on a visit to the Kamakhya Temple, one of the most revered shrines of the Hindu faith. Explore the temple’s intricate art and architecture and enjoy panoramic views of the city from Nilachal Hill. In the evening, take a relaxing cruise on the Brahmaputra River, witnessing a spectacular sunset.

Day 2

After breakfast check out from the hotel and visit Kamakhya Temple (Notes -Timing 08:00 A.M till 01:00 P.M & 3:00 P.M till it gets dark). After that transfer to Kaziranga National Park, the home of “One Horned Rhinoceros”, Check in at your hotel. As reach, check in at your hotel. Evening you will special visit Orchid Park for Cultural Dance programs, showcasing Tea Garden Dance (Jhumur), Assam’s proud – Bihu Dance, Karbi Bamboo Dance & many more. After returning to the hotel and overnight stay at Kaziranga.

Day 3

Kaziranga is famous for Rhinos. Apart from the Rhino, other species found are Hog Deer, Swamp Deer, Wild Buffalo, Elephants, and if you are lucky then tigers also. It is also home to pelicans, storks, and darters as there are several water bodies inside the Park. Enjoy a jeep safari through the National Park. Return to the resort for breakfast. After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Shillong (4,900 ft.), called 'Scotland of the East". En route visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 4

After an early breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), the wettest place in the world. En route enjoy the view of Mawdok - Dympep Valley View Point. You will see the beautiful waterfall known as Nohkalikai. Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), You can also explore the caves known as Mawsmai. Evening return to Shillong, en route visit Elephanta Falls. Overnight stay at Shillong.
Meal: Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner.

Day 5

After early breakfast drive to Mawlynnong – “Asia’s Cleanest Village”. Mawlynnong offers many interesting sights such as the living root bridge and another strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another small rock. Later proceed to Dawki, a small town near India Bangladesh border. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Umangot River. Evening drive back to Shillong. Stay overnight at your hotel in Shillong.
Meal: Breakfast – Lunch - Dinner.

Day 6

After breakfast check out from the hotel and visit Lady Hydar Park, Wads Lake & Cathedral church then drive to Guwahati... Visit Kamakhya Temple (Notes -Timing 08:00 A.M till 01:00 P.M & 3:00 P.M till dark). Later drop at Guwahati Airport for your onward journey.
