Day 1

Cochin– Bagdogra

  • TRANSFER TO PHUENTSHOLING - Approx. 170 km/ 05 Hrs.
  • Benny’s Royal Tours’ Hyderabad Tour begins. Assemble at Cochin International Airport, and after completing security check-in procedures, the flight departs for Siliguri in West Bengal. Arrive at Bagdogra Airport.
  • Welcome to Phuentsholing! Upon your arrival at Bagdogra Airport, you will be driven to Phuntsholing. The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. It is a thriving commercial center on the northern edge of the Indian Plains. Once reach, proceed with immigration formalities. Later, check-in at the hotel and spend your time at leisure. You can visit Bhutan Gate, a striking traditional gateway that beautifully marks the entry into Bhutan. Overnight stay at the hotel in Phuntsholing.

Day 2

Phuentsholing – Thimphu

  • TRANSFER TO THIMPU - Approx. 176 Km/ 06 Hrs.
  • Post check-out, get transferred to Thimphu. Upon arrival, check-in to your hotel & spend the rest of your day at leisure. In the evening, you can head out and visit the Tashichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion). It is a Buddhist monastery and fortress on the northern edge of the city of Thimphu in Bhutan, on the western bank of the Wang Chu. It has traditionally been the seat of the Druk Desi (or “Deb Raja”), the head of Bhutan’s civil government, an office which has been combined with the kingship since the creation of the monarchy in 1907, and the summer capital of the country. Overnight stay at the hotel in Thimphu.

Day 3

Thimphu

  • THIMPU FULL DAY SIGHTSEEING
  • After a delicious breakfast, proceed to visit the Kuensel Phodrang (Buddha Statue). The Great Buddha Dordenma is a gigantic Buddha statue in the mountains of Bhutan, celebrating the 60th anniversary of the fourth king, Jigme Singye Wangchuck. Located at a short drive from Thimphu City Centre, Kuenselphodrang offers a good overview of the Thimphu valley. The largest statue of Buddha in the country sits here, which houses over one hundred thousand smaller Buddha statues. Then visit the National Memorial Chorten, also known as Thimphu Chorten/ Memorial Stupa is one of the tallest monuments in Thimphu. Located in the southern central part of the city, in Doeboom Lam, the Stupa attracts tourists from all around the globe with its elegant architecture. Built in memory of the Third King of Bhutan. Then, visit the Folk Heritage Museum, which preserves and flaunts the folk tradition of the country. Set up in 2001, the museum is set up inside a three-stored house, having the soberest facade, which makes the place even more distinguished. Bhutanese cuisine, important trees, farming tools, household objects, and whatnot! This impressive museum displays it all. Afternoon visit Sangaygang View Point, Changangkha Monastery, and the Takin Preserve Centre. The takin is the national animal of Bhutan. The takin is the national animal of Bhutan. After sightseeing, return back to the hotel and overnight stay in Thimphu.

Day 4

Punakha

  • TRANSFER TO PUNAKHA - Approx. 77 km/ 03 Hrs.
  • After breakfast, drive to Punakha (4298 ft.), on the way, stop at Dochu-La-Pass (3150 Mts). To view the higher Himalayas. Arrival at Punakha, check-in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Punakha Dzong - built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo, and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952. After that, take a short and easy hike to visit the Punakha Village, Chhimi Lhakhang - The Temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility”, was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Divine Mad Man’. And also visit Punakha Suspension Bridge, Jigme Dorji National Park. Evening is free for leisure. Overnight stay at Punakha.

Day 5

Paro

  • TRANSFER TO PARO - Approx. 140 Km/ 05 Hrs.
  • After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Paro via Dochula Pass, covering Paro Chhu river valley and Wang Chhu river valley. On the way, you will be visiting Simtokha Dzong, an old fortress which is now a school for the Dzongkha language. Once you reach Paro, you will be checked into a hotel. After freshening up, later proceed to Paro local sightseeing points, Ta Dzong, Ringpung Dzong, Tamchog lhakhang. After sightseeing, back to the hotel. Evening is for leisure. Overnight stay at a hotel in Paro.

Day 6

Paro

  • EXCURSION TO T-TAKTSANG MONASTERY (TIGER NEST MONASTERY)
  • Today, after a delicious breakfast, embark on a scenic drive to Satsam Chencho Tshongkhang, the gateway to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Trek. From there, hike through pine-scented trails lined with prayer flags, catching glimpses of the Cliffside monastery. As you reach the monastery, explore its sacred halls, murals, and meditation caves dedicated to Guru Rinpoche. It will take your full day. One needs to do a trek to visit this. Ponies are available for hire. Later, descend and get driven to your hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Paro.

Day 7

Lataguri

  • After breakfast check out of your hotel and transfer to the Phuentsholing. On the way, you will get the Bird’s Eye View of Paro Airport. After Immigration and customs procedures, you will transfer to Lataguri. Lataguri is a small village located in the Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal, India. It is a popular gateway for tourists heading to the Gorumara National Park and an ideal location for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. Dinner and overnight stay at a hotel in Lataguri.

Day 8

Departure

  • TRANSFER TO BAGDOGRA - Approx. 90 Km/ 03 Hrs.
  • After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and transfer to Bagdogra Airport on your way back home. Depart from Bagdogra Airport and arrive at Kochi Airport with sweet memories of Benny’s Royal Tours “The Royal Bhutan Tour”
